Museum in the Making

Starting a museum is monumental task. Join us for a first look at Smithsonian's newest museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, slated to open in 2016. Founding Director Lonnie Bunch guides us through the challenges, from designing the building to collecting and selecting artifacts that'll represent the 400-year-long African American experience.
