If you were to search the world for the ugliest, slimiest and, well, weirdest creatures, where would you go? And who would actually want to? Nick Baker, that's who! Ever since he was a boy, Nick has been intrigued by the exhibits of strange animals found in the British Natural History Museum and wondered what these weird creatures would be like in their native habitat. Now that he's grown up, he's fullfilling that dream and taking you along for the ride. Nick meets with the specialists at the museum and then travels the world over to track down the actual living creatures where they live.
EPISODES
BLOOD SQUIRTING LIZARD Only Nick would figure out a way to get a Horned Lizard to spurt blood on camera! It's a defensive move (for the lizard, that is) and it took a dog and camera crew to make it happen!
SAGGY SKINNED FROG Nick goes under water (and takes you with him) to find the weirdest looking frog you've ever seen in its natural habitat.
STAR NOSED MOLE It's a mole, but it's smaller and has a different kind of tail. And when you look at it nose to nose, you'll see that this critter has little feelers in the shape of a star where its nose and mouth is that help it to find food.
CROC FROM MARS Crocodiles are prehistoric creatures. All of them look a bit weird, but none as much as the gharial crocodile.
