Mighty Ships: USS New York

The USS New York is built out of the ashes of 9/11. From the steel in her bow to her motto, "Never Forget," this warship honors the victims of the worst attack on American soil. Designed to be the most advanced amphibious warships on the planet, she needs to prove herself before her first deployment. Three weeks of maneuvers and training off the North Carolina coast will push the ship to her limits, but it's the only way to find out if she's as tough and resilient as the city she's named after.
