Christy Kenneally
While he may be new to American audiences host Christy Kenneally is no stranger to television or religion. Kenneally is a well-known Irish scriptwriter, author, television host, and former priest. A graduate of the National University of Ireland, Kenneally holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Divinity. His combined interests have inspired several television series that explore the world's major religions. The series Heaven on Earth took Kenneally to 14 different countries to explore the sacred sites and artwork of Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Paganism and Hinduism. The series The Lost Gods, now playing on Smithsonian Channel, leads Kenneally and viewers on a journey to 11 different countries and back in history to a time when mighty civilizations fell and ancient gods met their fate. Kenneally's travels and experience will be critical for the ambitious task of Decoding Christianity.
